What Does the following Ultrasound Test Result Mean?
hi, I am 34yrs and I have 3 fibroids: anterior fundus 62 x 66 x 54mm; anterior body 53 x 46 x 60mm; and posterior lower uterus segment 50 x 52 x 47mm. This includes an enlarged uterus at 18.7 x 10.8 x 10.5mm. I have regular periods (3 -4 days with one day of heavy bleeding and big clots. will removal of these be the best option or watch and wait?
1.The report suggest uterus is quite bulky in size - almost double to normal size. 2.With multiple fibroid s 6 cm , 5 cm , and 5 cm approximately. 3.Initially some hormonal treatment is given, followed by operative procedure. Or there is international procedure done - through MRI with ultrasound waves. 4.Some thing has to be done as it will be difficult to conceive in future if you are planning. 5.If you are done with the kinds - then when symptomatic, operative removal of the uterus should be planned.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
